Manage Global Incentive Compensation Programs and Strategy for Ford Motor Company

We are seeking a C&B leader for our Global Incentive Programs Compensation team with the right expertise and leadership to help with our ongoing transformation.

The scope of the position ranges from Global Incentive Plan strategy and design to managing all aspects of plan administration, including technology and vendor management.  The position will lead cross-functional/global projects associated with incentive plan design and administration and has lead for incentive plan content to support Compensation Committee/Board of Director meetings.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The role manages a team of 3 and is responsible for the following areas:

  • Incentive compensation strategy
  • Environmental scans/ market intelligence
  • Benchmarking, research, modeling, analysis
  • Global LTI and STI plan design and policies
  • Global LTI and STI plan administration
  • Plan documents
  • Terms & conditions, grant agreements
  • Share usage (LTI)
  • Tax withholding strategy and compliance
  • Issue resolution, escalation and exceptions
  • Data analytics
  • Beneficiary payments
  • Compensation Committee/Board of Director support:  Lead for incentive plan materials (stock allocation, incentive plan status, committee affirmations, incentive plan risk assessment, bonus and stock program performance metrics & scale approvals, etc.)
  • Form and lead cross-functional teams for global projects
  • Vendor management, including budgeting, contracts, POs, payments and service level agreements for Morgan Stanley, Deloitte and Willis Towers Watson
  • Member of Morgan Stanley Client Advisory Board
  • Manage technology/ business applications (SAWs, Morgan Stanley, GAIN, CPO LL1 plan, etc.
  • Manage unique incentive program arrangements for certain employee populations
  • Manage HR portal (Life@Ford) incentive program content and resources
  • Support regulatory filings, including annual proxy statement, calculation of CEO pay ratio disclosure, Form 4, 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K
  • Support company financial reporting related to incentive plans
  • Provide consultation to HRBO on incentive comp
  • Provide consultation on bonus and stock plans to subsidiaries and JVs
  • Manage Internal Control processes and approvals for incentive plans

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Some compensation experience in a technology Company is preferred
  • At least 2 years experience as a People Leader (will manage a team of 3 in this role)
  • Ability to form effective collaborative working relationships with your direct reports, peers, other HR colleagues, organizational leaders, and other skill teams (e.g., Corporate Communications, IT, Finance etc.) 
  • Demonstration of strong business acumen, ability to use data analytics to formulate insights, and a growth mindset eager and willing to learn
  • A demonstrated track record of delivering excellence and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated project management, change management, and facilitation skills 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; willingness to adjust course based on data and/or feedback
  • Ability to plan and think independently 
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task and work on multiple/complex projects at the same time
  • Bachelor’s degree required
