Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Physician to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), strong clinical acumen, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care. This role involves reviewing lab results, writing treatment orders, and collaborating with the nursing team to ensure seamless care delivery. Flexible work options, including remote or hybrid schedules, are available.
Duties:
- Conduct virtual or in-person consultations to assess patient health and eligibility for HRT.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medications or ordering HRT for RN administration.
- Review and interpret lab results, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper administration of HRT and adherence to care protocols.
- Educate patients about HRT, lab results, and long-term care plans to optimize health outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Provide guidance to the nursing team on patient care best practices.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in HRT and contribute to ongoing clinical improvement.
Preferred Experience:
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on patient care and HRT.
- Familiarity with maintaining medical records and using EMR systems.
- Experience reviewing lab work and adjusting treatment protocols.
- Strong communication and patient education skills.
- Knowledge of medspa services (e.g., dermal fillers, injectables) is a plus.
Key Qualifications:
- Must have a valid, active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in California.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Physician in California is also acceptable.
- Certification or training in Hormone Replacement Therapy is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms for virtual patient care.
- Understanding of California healthcare laws, including scope of practice regulations and remote prescribing requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery.
