Job Description

Provide administrative support for multiple internal processes and workflows. This includes the drafting of correspondence and standardized documents, data entry and data reporting, e-filing and other duties as assigned.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Read standardized franchise agreements and legal contracts, identify key terms, and input into a contract database with a high degree of accuracy. Generate reports and provide information out of the contract database.
  • Assist with administering the new store and renewal processes for international locations, including data entry and following up with franchisees and ADQ teammates to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with entering, tracking and follow-up of management training plans for franchisees
  • Administer contract administration process, including obtaining and tracking signatures and e-filing for vendor contracts in Marketing, Retail Technology, IT, HR and Finance.
  • Administer business license processes in the US and Canada for various corporate entities.
  • Assist with corporate governance matters, including drafting corporate resolutions, annual meeting documentation etc.
  • Perform the tracking, documenting and e-filing related to terminated stores.
  • Responsible for trademark and litigation e-filing.
  • Assist attorneys and paralegals with preparing and sending other correspondence.
  • Other projects as needed in the department.

Qualifications

Education and Qualifications

  • A minimum of an associate's degree is required, legal focus is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience is required in lieu of a degree.
  • 1-3 years of legal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred.
  • Ability to work with people in a manner that shows a positive attitude, sensitivity, and professionalism.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests for various people within the department simultaneously within an intense, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish, organize , and maintain files.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office application software (i.e., Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Well-organized with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment.

The US national hourly range for this non-exempt position is $26.98 - $31.70. The base hourly range displayed reflects the targeted hiring range for positions across all US locations. Individual pay is determined by job-related skills, work location, and relevant education or experience.

Work Environment

Most positions located out of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 2 collaboration days a week. Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs. Positions will be identified as "remote eligible" when consideration will be given to candidates outside of drivable distance to our Bloomington office.
