Medical Transcriptionist Id-2469

About Us:

At Versio, we are committed to providing exceptional transcription services. We value accuracy and quality in all aspects of our operations, and we are currently seeking experienced medical transcriptionists to join our team who have the same high standards for their work. If you are detail-oriented, have a passion for medical documentation, and are committed to producing high-quality work, we want to hear from you!

About the Work:
We do all straight transcription, with NO voice recognition editing! We also have some very interesting and unique accounts. These are fully remote, work-from-home independent contractor positions. We work primarily on the Emdat/escription-one platform. We will teach you if you do not have experience with this platform. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our clients’ medical records are accurate and comprehensive, supporting our clients in delivering the best patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transcribe medical reports dictated by healthcare professionals accurately and efficiently.
  • Adhere to client specifications and employ medical transcription best practices, including proper grammar and punctuation.
  • Conduct appropriate research as needed to ensure accuracy of reports.
  • Review and edit transcripts to ensure they are grammatically correct, error-free, and in compliance with standards.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all legal requirements, including HIPAA.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of full-time proven experience as a medical transcriptionist. (Work as nurse, medical assistant, clinic manager, etc., does not equate to medical transcription experience.)
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare documentation standards.
  • Excellent hearing/listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with transcription software (even if not Emdat/escription-one).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Availability:

We are currently hiring primarily for late-night and graveyard hours, but other schedules can be discussed at an interview. One weekend day weekly is required, but working both weekend days is also an option. Let us emphasize that those with the broadest availability will be the most attractive to Versio!

How to Apply:

Please submit an up-to-date resume, and be sure to answer all of the screening questions. Those who do not answer all the screening questions may not be considered.

WE WILL NOT CONSIDER ANYONE WHO LIVES OR WORKS OUTSIDE THE UNITED STATES.

Thank you! We look forward to receiving your submission.
